Todays Chapter starts of much like your average Sunday skate session. The crew is at an overlooked part of our fair city. This one happens to be a small carpark in an alleyway.
Little did we know it was going to be one of the first thunderstorms for a little while. It was gonna get heavy in a few minutes.
Quentin Guthrie getting that VX low, anticipating an incoming skateboarder, when he notices me shooting photos of him.
What is this here? There’s another VX on the scene! Gone are the days of one filmer per crew. The modern day skate crew seems to have cameras of all kinds in the stash.
Ethan gets some with newly acquired camera.
He’s learning fast. The lazy mans tripod (leaning against a something) is always a winner. Bonus points for looking relaxed as fuck while your doing it.
Barry reloading his film camera while sitting on the curb with Robbie.
Just as the session was getting wild and Lewis Rodan was taking it to the next level it started raining. Really raining, like heavy torrential type rain.
Robbie and Issa were stranded at the next shelter over waiting it out.
Robbie making the most of this rain and topping up his drink.
Trying to work out what to do. Barry and Quentin look so over it.
The rain was creeping into out little hideout so we had to make a run for it. Session was over, it was not drying up so we spent the rest of the afternoon either eating or skating flat at an undercover spot.
I doubt it will rain much for the rest of the year now. It was hot as hell today and probably going to stay that way. Need to find some shady spots for summer I think. You know of any good ones?
